Delete your account

Delete from the app

  1. Open Pocket Med List and choose Profile.
  2. Scroll to Delete account and read the confirmation.
  3. Confirm the request. If asked, enter your password or sign in again with the account provider you use for Pocket Med List.
Account deletion is permanent. Save any records you need before confirming. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel that subscription separately in the store where you purchased it.

Request deletion without the app

Email info@pocketmedlist.com with the subject “Delete my Pocket Med List account.” Use the email address associated with your account when possible. If you cannot access that address, tell us that you need help verifying ownership.

We will verify that you own the account before completing the request. Do not send your password, verification codes, payment-card information, or medication records by email.

What is deleted

Deletion covers account data controlled by Pocket Med List: your sign-in account and profile, medications, schedules, dose activity, blood-pressure and blood-glucose readings, care connections, invitations, and associated app records. Care access tied to the deleted account ends. Another person's separate account and medication records are not deleted.

Timing and limited retention

We aim to complete deletion within 30 days after a verified request. Limited records may be retained when required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, disputes, tax, accounting, or legal obligations. Protected backups may retain information temporarily until overwritten. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Apple, Google, and other service providers may retain their own transaction or compliance records. Account deletion cannot retrieve records that you or someone you authorized previously exported, printed, photographed, or saved elsewhere.

Leaving a care connection

You can stop helping manage or viewing someone else's account without deleting your own account. In Profile, open your care connections, choose the connected account, and use Leave connection. An account owner can remove a member from their Care Team. This ends future access; it cannot remove copies already saved outside the app.
